Peterborough United host goal-shy Shrewsbury Town on Saturday at the Weston Homes Stadium, with the home side potentially having an outside chance of going top of the table.
League One has not exactly seen many high-scoring fixtures so far this season, in stark contrast to the top level of English football, and Shrewsbury have been the main culprits in a lack of goals.
Their defeat on Tuesday to Fleetwood Town saw them unable to score once again, as they sit at the bottom of the scoring charts with just five goals in their eight league matches this season, failing to score more than one in any league game.
Peterborough, on the other hand, have been much more prolific. Before a surprise 2-2 draw with bottom-side Burton Albion on Tuesday, they had won five in a row, catapulting themselves up into promotion contention early on - the Posh have now scored at least two in every home league game this season.
