5 Longest Serving EPL Managers at a Single Club
Arsene Wenger - Arsenal (1996-2018) - 7894 days
Despite the toxic ending to Arsene Wenger’s long reign of the Gunners, he still holds the record for the longest ever serving Premier League manager, and his time at the club is one of the most successful spells in football history.
He had instant success as a manager, winning a league in his second season in charge, and then going on to win two more titles, including completing the only ever invincible Premier League season to date.
He also holds the record for the most FA Cups won by a manager, winning the cup seven times, and that also led him to win the Community Shield seven times during his tenure.
Sir Alex Ferguson - Manchester United (1992-2013) - 7640 days
Despite taking over in 1986, Sir Alex Ferguson managed Manchester United in the Premier League from 1992 onwards, and is still by far the most successful manager in the league’s history, winning thirteen titles in the twenty-one seasons he managed.
He took charge of 1500 games at the helm of the Old Trafford club, and alongside the thirteen Premier League titles, he won five FA Cups, four League Cups, two Champions Leagues, ten Community Shields, the European Cup Winners Cup, the European Super Cup, the Intercontinental Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.
He is also the only Premier League manager to ever complete the treble, winning the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League in the same season, which he dramatically accomplished in 1999.
David Moyes - Everton (2002-2013) - 4096 days
David Moyes’ Everton spell is still to date one of the most underrated managerial roles in Premier League history, despite not winning a trophy in the eleven years at Goodison Park.
Moyes guided the Toffees to European football on four different occasions, including the Champions League on one occasion when he managed Everton to fourth in the league in 2004/05.
In the eleven seasons he managed Everton, he finished inside the top six, six times, something the club has only managed once in the eight seasons after he left the Toffees for Manchester United in 2013.
Joe Kinnear - Wimbledon (1992-1999) - 2698 days
Joe Kinnear was the reserve manager for three years before being made permanent manager in January 1992, and he managed to keep the club in the Premier League for seven seasons, with the club going down the year after he resigned due to health issues.
During his seven seasons in the Premier League, Kinnear managed Wimbledon to three finishes in the top ten, including a sixth-placed finish in the 1993/94 season, where he won Premier League manager of the month three times.
In the 1996/97 season, Kinnear guided Wimbledon to an eighth-placed finish and the semi-final of both the FA Cup and the League Cup.
Harry Redknapp - West Ham United (1994-2001) - 2464
Harry Redknapp’s time at West Ham will be remembered for bringing through some of the best youth products in the club's history, which included the likes of Frank Lampard, Rio Ferdinand, Michael Carrick and Joe Cole.
Whilst also managing some of the country's best youth products into top-class players, he also led the club to an eighth-place finish in the 1997/98 season, and just the next season a fifth-placed finish, which qualified them for the UEFA Intertoto Cup.
He managed to win the Intertoto Cup in the summer of 1999, which qualified the club for the UEFA Cup for the first time since 1980, but results didn’t keep up and he left the club just two seasons later.
