Next up on this list is Manchester United forward Anthony Martial, with it being common knowledge that the Frenchman is unhappy with life at Old Trafford due to a lack of game time.
United have shown interest in Haaland and were close to signing the Norwegian from Salzburg prior to him joining the Signal Iduna Park, but, following the sacking of his former manager in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, their chances look to have taken a serious dent.
Instead, United could offer Martial as a makeweight for a deal involving Jude Bellingham, who they are known to be keenly interested in due to the issues which they have in central midfield with the likes of Paul Pogba’s contract expiring, on top of the lack of balance they have in their current setup.
Martial would offer a more experienced option to Youssoufa Moukoko, effectively allowing the 17-year-old more time to grow into a first-team role.
The 26-year-old Frenchman is known for being a quick and flair based forward which is something that has gone down well in recent times at Dortmund, and having scored 79 goals and created 50 assists for United since the start of the 2015/16 campaign, he could offer a platform to allow young stars grow around him.
If Martial can refind his form at Sevilla that saw him manage 35 goal contributions in 48 appearances across 48 matches in 2019/20, then his next manager will have a very good player on his hands.
