Everything seems to be going well for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal at the moment, with the club seemingly in pole position to get back into the Champions League for the first time since 2017. And if the Gunners were to do so, they will need to make signings in the coming summer transfer window so that they can kick on and start to compete with Europe’s elite clubs.
One area that the Gunners will be looking to improve is their attack. With Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang acrimoniously leaving the club in January to join Barcelona, Arsenal have been left with just Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah to fill the void in attack. Fiorentina star Dusan Vlahovic was heavily linked with the Gunners in January as a replacement for Aubameyang, but ultimately the Serb opted to join Juventus. And while Lacazette and Nketiah have performed admirably since then, they ultimately are not good enough to get Arsenal to where they want to be. And so, with the end of the football season rapidly approaching, we look at some of the players who the Gunners may look to sign.
