English midfielder Kalvin Phillips put in a Man of the Match performance vs Croatia in England’s group opener and he has since been one of the nation's best performers at Euro 2020.
The midfielder adopted a slightly advanced role than most fans were used to seeing where the Leeds man provided an assist for Raheem Sterling, but combined with his defensive qualities, the man has been excellent so far, much against the attack of hundreds of English doubters.
The Leeds man anchored their midfield last season and has proven that he’s more than capable of performing at Premier League level andwith more top-class performances, he will continue to gain attention from top clubs both in and outside of England.
He seems comfortable at Leeds for now, and of course, he is from the area. Don't think this will stop him if a Champions League club comes calling, however.
