Having impressed during his time on loan with the ill-fated West Bromwich Albion, Arsenal academy graduate, Ainsley Maitland-Niles will likely leave Arsenal this summer.
After missing out on the England squad for the European Championships, and in truth, not even being close to it, Maitland-Niles will be in search of regular football and there is reported interest from across the Premier League. The 23-year-old made 15 appearances during his time at the Hawthorns, but couldn’t stop the Baggies from dropping back down to the Championship.
A right-back by trade, the Englishman would represent the ideal Bielsa signing, given the versatility he can offer. Capable of moving into midfield, the Arsenal defender is comfortable both in and out of possession, whilst his athletic traits would suit Leeds United's fast-paced pressing style.
It is unclear what sort of price tag the Gunners would place on the head of Maitland-Niles and with a number of Premier League clubs sniffing around the defender, but Leeds are amongst the favourites at 5/1 to secure his signature.
