Bayern Munich have been dominant in the Bundesliga, bagging every league title in their way since 2013 and securing 29 in total.
Despite being rampant in the German top flight, the club have still had to work hard for their titles. In 2012/13, Jupp Heynckes prevented Jurgen Klopp's Borussia Dortmund from winning a third consecutive league title. In 2018/19, Dortmund took the title race to the final day before the Bavarians side's terrific achievement this season, winning all but one game after the winter break.
In recent years the competition for second place has been entertaining. RB Leipzig have shot up through the ranks while Dortmund have been ever-present in the top four since Jurgen Klopp departed the club in 2015.
Here we take a look at the Bundesliga winner without Bayern, and see who will finish as runners-up to the German giants.
