Liam Davies vs Sean Cairns

To kick off the main card, Shropshire's unbeaten Liam Davies takes on Sean Cairns for the vacant English bantamweight title.

Davies has had an unbeaten start to his career with seven victories from his first seven fights. Cairns, meanwhile, has also amassed seven victories as a professional but has suffered two defeats at the hands of former top amateur Sean McGoldrick and Davies' latest victim, Brett Fidoe.

Cairns is the much more experienced of the two having boxed 38 rounds as a professional compared to Davies' 28 but he is the fighter with all the momentum going into the fight and we're backing him to win on points.

Prediction: Liam Davies to win by decision

Alen Babic vs Tom Little

Now for an enticing heavyweight encounter between the popular Alen Babic and the vastly experienced Tom Little.

Babic burst onto the UK boxing scene with a highlight reel stoppage victory over Shawndell Winters at Fight Camp in the Summer and then followed it up with another energetic performance against Niall Kennedy at the start of last month, getting the Irishman out of there in the third round to take his record as a professional to five wins with five knockouts from five fights.

Little, however, has had a very indifferent career so far compared to Babic. From his 18 career fights to date, he's picked up 10 victories with notable wins over Josh Sandland and the tough Kamil Sokolowski, although he has been beaten eight times. Do not let those losses cloud your judgement about Little, however, as three of those stoppages have come at the hands of notoriously big punchers like David Price, Daniel Dubois and Babic's fellow Croatian, Filip Hrgovic.

Babic is very, very small for a heavyweight. That small that in his fight against Shawndell Winters, he came in six pounds under the cruiserweight limit when the fight was made at heavyweight. The Croatian has never been past the third round as a pro and his 'all or nothing' style from the first bell makes you question whether he'd be able to fight at that pace for more than four rounds.

Little, on the other hand, is a naturally decent-sized heavyweight and the thing with him is, he can actually box. Yes he's suffered some bad knockout defeats but they have all been to big elite level heavyweights, often on not much notice for him. He's had plenty of notice for this fight and if he can box and move around Babic for the first few rounds, he could cause the Croatian some massive problems the longer the fight goes and potentially shock the whole of Wembley Arena and get the victory.

Fabio Wardley vs Richard Lartey

In what will undoubtedly be a fight full of fireworks, one of the biggest prospects in British boxing, Fabio Wardley, takes on Ghanian heavyweight, Richard Lartey.

Wardley was originally set to fight the ex-world champion, Lucas Browne, on the card until the Australian stepped out, so in stepped Lartey to save the day.

The Ghanian is well known to British boxing fans having fought and been stopped by Daniel Dubois and most recently losing out on points to Nathan Gorman last month. Indeed, he's built up a record of 14 wins including 11 stoppages from 17 fights to date, however, Lartey's wins have all come against relatively weak competition in his home country.

Wardley is slowly building up a reputation for being one of the biggest UK punchers in the game. Nine wins from his first nine fights with eight stoppage victories for the East Anglian with his most recent win coming in empathic style over Simon Valilly with a beautifully timed third round stoppage.

The Englishman is seemingly yet to get out of third gear in his nine pro bouts to date. From a white-collar background, his cool and calm demeanour and likeable character has made him one of the most popular young fighters on the circuit.

In truth, this fight could go one of two ways for Wardley: he could stop Lartey or he could put in a solid 10 round performance showcasing attributes which he has so far not needed to show. However, we believe Wardley will have too much power and youthful exuberance for Lartey and a KO/TKO looks to be on the cards here.

Prediction: Fabio Wardley to win by KO/TKO/DQ - 2/5 @ Betfair

Conor Benn vs Sebastian Formella

In the main event, the unbeaten Conor Benn takes on the slick German, Sebastian Formella.

Benn, the son of former world champion Nigel Benn, has had a faultless start to his professional career with 16 wins and 11 stoppages coming from his first 16 fights. He did, however, meet plenty of trouble when he was dropped twice by Cedrick Peynaud in his 11th fight, although he bounced back from the two knockdowns to claim a relatively controversial points win.

The 24-year-old's best win to date came last time out against the well-travelled Steven Jamoye where Benn put in an almost punch perfect performance to stop the Belgian in the fourth round - the Englishman showed he can step it up when he needs to.

Now, a step up in class is exactly what he's got in this bout against the once-beaten Sebastian Formella. Unbeaten in his first 22 fights, the German travelled to America to take on former world champion Shawn Porter, but he was unable to live with the constant pressure from the American and went down to a unanimous points defeat.

Formella has shown plenty prior to the Porter fight to suggest that he is a world-level boxer. Light on his feet off the back foot, he's very much a counter puncher with good feet and quick hands and stylistically that could potentially be a nightmare for Benn. Something else which stands out is his patience.

The Englishman has gotten used to being able to walk through his opponents with his one-punch power and ability to mix it up to the head and body with relative ease, an attribute which is old man was renowned for.

However, this we believe is just a step too far too soon for Benn. Even though 'The Destroyer' has shown signs of maturity in his last couple of bouts, Formella should have just too much ring craft and experience for the younger man and we're backing him to win on points.

Prediction: Sebastian Formella to win by Decision or Technical Decision - Best priced 11/4 @ Bet365
