Paddy Power have opened up a market for Donny van de Beek's next club odds.

The Dutch midfielder has been heavily linked with a move away from Ajax this summer, with the 23-year-old looking ready to make the next step up in his career.

Van de Beek has been with the Eredivisie side since the age of eighteen, winning one league title and being part of that iconic team that reached the Champions League semi-finals just last season.

So, which clubs have been credited with an interest in the talented midfielder and who has been given the best chances in signing him? We've taken a look below.

At 11/10, Manchester United have been made the huge favourites to sign Donny van de Beek this summer.

The Red Devils have been linked with various midfielders like Jack Grealish and James Maddison, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer making it no secret that he wants to recruit a new creative figure in the middle of the park.

Van de Beek is a player that fits in this category, and Ajax CEO, Edwin van Der Sar, recently addressed United's pursuit. He publicly claimed that the club's interest in the midfielder was 'clear', inevitably sparking transfer speculation.

The CEO himself could potentially have a part to play in the deal too, given his strong ties with the Manchester side. United and Ajax last concluded transfer business back in 2018 through the deal of Daley Blind, and the two clubs are thought to be on good terms.

When you lay out all the factors, United's label as the favourites is justified, on paper at least.

Van de Beek looked destined to join Real Madrid last summer, but a deal never materialised. Strong reports in Spain reported that the transfer was all but final, the only thing that seemed to be missing was the player actually holding up the jersey.

Like United, Zinedine Zidane's side have been scouting creative midfielders for some time. James Rodriguez is likely to move on this summer, meaning a new replacement is likely.

At 11/2 though, they are someway behind the Red Devils. After spending over £300m on recruits just last year, doubts have been raised over the Spanish side's financial freedom this summer.

Although Madrid are clearly big fans of the Ajax star, their ability to spend as lavishly as usual remains to be seen.

Whenever Real Madrid's name gets mentioned, Barcelona are never too far behind. The La Liga giants have been made the third favourites in the race for Van de Beek at 12/1.

As a club that is never short of nifty, technical midfielders, the 23-year-old is certainly a profile that fits the criteria needed to play at the Nou Camp. The main question lies with whether his position is being regarded as a priority.

They have only recently invested heavily into an Ajax midfielder themselves, in the shape of Frenkie de Jong just last summer, who joined a midfield department that already possess the likes of Sergio Busquets, Arthur, Arturo Vidal and Ivan Rakitic.

On paper, their squad could do with recruits elsewhere, most notably at the back. Paddy Power have perhaps recognised such a factor, hence their outside price.

Although United are the favourites, two other Premier League clubs have been given a shot at Van de Beek. Tottenham Hotspur are the first at 14/1, with their inclusion coinciding with rumours around the potential exit of Tanguy Ndombele.

Surprisingly, Newcastle United are in at 22/1, but this is no doubt dependent on their potential takeover. Should the alleged deal materialise, the Toon Army can't be completely ruled out over such signings.

In-between both clubs is Inter Milan, as Antonio Conte has been very active in the transfer windows since taking the reigns last summer. The Italian is a fan of energetic figures in the middle, but Paddy Power have given relatively large odds of 20/1 for this linkup to occur.
