England are the favourites to score the most goals at Euro 2020 and with the firepower of captain Harry Kane and a brilliant attack, it doesn’t seem out of the question on paper.
England have been drawn in what should be a relatively straightforward group involving Scotland and the Czech Republic and Gareth Southgate’s men will be expected to put these sides to the sword and win with comfortable scorelines.
However, Southgate has been criticised for his style of play since the 2019 Nations League, which has seen England appear to be rather underwhelming in their recent friendlies. Whilst England are favourites to win the tournament, if they were to progress from the group stage in first place, they could face either France, Germany or Spain. Were England to play any of these sides, it would be an incredibly tough ask to progress which could limit the number of goals they score in the tournament.
With this in mind and considering their group, we're backing England to get between 9-12 goals.
