Well well well, what a week it was last week as Matchroom Boxings Fight Camp series kicked off with absolute fireworks, literally. Ted Cheeseman got the better of Sam Eggington in a thrilling main event whilst James Tennyson, Fabio Wardley & Dalton Smith all picked up impressive stoppage victories with Jordan Gill putting on a boxing masterclass to defeat Reece Bellotti.

This week sees the first ever all British womens world title fight as the unbeaten Terri Harper takes on Olympian Tasha Jonas. With an action packed undercard, we've taken a look at every fight and like last week, given a little prediction along with a request a bet exclusively at SkyBet.

Hopey Price vs Johnny Phillips

To kick off week two of Fight Camp we see the unbeaten professional novice Hopey Price (2-0-0) take on Jonny Phillips (5-4-0).

Price, at only 19, is already touted for big things in the professional ranks after an illustrious amateur career which saw him win Gold at the 2018 Youth Olympic Games in Argentina.

Phillips meanwhile has no real amateur pedigree and has kicked off his professional career with five wins and four losses from his first nine fights.

On paper, you'd think this will be an easy nights work for Price however Phillips has already taken the unbeaten record of Chris Eubank's son Nathaniel Wilson and has proven to cause the likes of two time world title challenger Stephen Smith problems.

Price's trainer Dave Coldwell has voiced his concern about this fight already but we expect Price to overcome a little adversity and get the points victory.

Prediction: Hopey Price to on points

Aqib Fiaz vs Kane Baker

Highly touted to be a future world champion by many on the local boxing circuit, Aqib Fiaz has gotten off to a faultless start in his professional career with five wins coming from his first five fights. The Mancunian lightweight takes on the more experienced Kane Baker (13-6-0) this weekend as he looks to take his unbeaten run to six fights.

Baker is seen as what is referred to in the boxing world as a "gatekeeper" with losses to prospects such as Conor Benn, Gary Cully, Sam Maxwell and Myron Mills and he will no doubt provide a stern test for the younger man.

Despite his unblemished record, Fiaz hasn't had it all his own way so far in his professional career and after outclassing Ibrar Riyaz on his debut back in March of last year, many felt he was lucky to get the decision when defeating Ben Fields 39-38 in his second professional bout.

If Fiaz is to get the win over Baker then he is more than likely going to have to answer some serious questions but we believe he will do just that and get the points win over the Brummy and look good in the process of doing it as well.

Prediction: Aqib Fiaz to win on points (4/9 @ Bet365)

Anthony Fowler vs Adam Harper

The third fight on the card sees Anthony Fowler (12-1-0) take on Adam Harper (9-1-0) in a Super Welterweight encounter.

Fowler, like many of Matchrooms fighters on this card, had a terrific amateur career which saw him win Gold at the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow. He's gone on to pick up minor WBA & WBO titles in the pro ranks but his biggest fight to date was a loss against former GB teammate and arch rival Scott Fitzgerald.

Harper meanwhile has had a rather different start to his professional career.

After turning pro in 2014, he's had just 10 fights in six years and in March of 2018 he travelled to Australia to take on Michael Zerafa for the Commonwealth Title, a fight in which he was just simply outclassed in.

In most of his fights, Fowler has had to set the pace and take the fight to his opponent but it's more than likely that Harper will do the pace setting in this fight which will suit "The Machine" to a tee.

Prediction: Fowler to win by KO/TKO/DQ between rounds 1-5 (5/4 @ SkyBet)

Chris Billam-Smith vs Nathan Thorley

In what could potentially be a fight of the night candidate, Bournemouth's Chris Billam-Smith (10-1-0) takes on the Welshman Nathan Thorley (14-0-0) for the Commonwealth Cruiserweight title.

Billam-Smith stormed on to the prime time boxing scene last year when putting up a solid performance against Richard Riakporhe to be defeated by split decision, a fight in which many fans believe he had won fair and square. He then got back to winning ways in November of last year when picking up the Commonwealth Title in a dominant stoppage win over the hard hitting scouser Craig Glover at the Echo Arena.

The Welshman Thorley is currently unbeaten in 14 fights but has plied his trade between the light heavyweight limit of 175lbs and cruiserweight limit of 200lbs with just one of his 14 bouts been matched above the cruiserweight limit. He does however lack big fight experience with just two of his 14 opponents to date having a winning record but that also leaves the question of just how good is he?

"The Gentleman" Billam-Smith is understandably the favourite in this fight. Huge for the weight with nine stoppages from his 10 wins, he's proven to be more of an accumulative puncher instead of a one punch knockout artist. He's attractive on the eye inside the ring and his more than likeable persona outside of the ring makes him a potential future star.

We expect Thorley to come out and give it a good go and but Billam-Smith will more than likely get to work on the body early doors and then take him out in the later rounds.

Prediction: Chris Billam-Smith to win by KO/TKO/DQ between rounds 7-12 (6/5 @ Betfair)

Terri Harper vs Natasha Jonas

Now for the main event, the first EVER world title fight contested between two women from Britain. Doncaster's Terri Harper (10-0-0) defending her WBC & IBO World Super Featherweight titles against Liverpools Natasha Jonas (9-1-0).

At the age of just 22, Harper became one of the youngest female world champions ever when defeating Nozipho Bell for the IBO world title on home turf in July of last year. She then followed that up with a convincing points victory over Viviane Obenauf before becoming unified super featherweight champion of the world when coasting past the WBC champ Eva Wahlstrom in February of this year.

Jonas was the first EVER woman to compete for GB boxing back in 2009 and she went on to achieve great things as an amateur winning FIVE ABA titles along with World Championship bronze before losing out to Katie Taylor in the 2012 Olympic Games Quarter Finals.

He pro career has told a similar tale and after picking up five stoppage victories from her first six fights, she was stopped in the fourth round against Viviane Obenauf, a fighter Harper has since beaten as previously mentioned. The scouser has however bounced back from her first defeat as a pro with three convincing wins back to back.

The fight is an interesting one. Jonas is the far more experienced of the two if you take into account the pairs amateur careers but the momentum and youthfulness is firmly on the side of Harper. Jonas is 13 years the senior and with experience comes miles on the clock which can in some cases be a bad thing. Harper has already shown she's got power in both hands and that she can take a shot whereas the ex Olympian has shown that she can be a bit vulnerable around the whiskers.

It's more than likely Harper will be patient as she is the champion after all and Jonas, who is shorter of the two, will have to close the range and get close on the inside. That should play into Harper's hands perfectly and we can see this being a stoppage victory for the current champ.

Prediction: Terri Harper by KO/TKO/DQ (8/11 @ SkyBet)
