Robbie Fowler was synonymous with Liverpool throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, as the man that the Kop nicknamed ‘God’ guided the Reds to an FA Cup, two League Cups, and a UEFA Cup in his first stint at the club that began in 1993.
Fowler scored a whopping 171 goals for the club before breaking hearts and leaving for Leeds in 2001. He spent two seasons with the Whites before joining Manchester City in 2003 and making 80 appearances for the Citizens.
In 2006, Fowler made his famous return to Anfield and described how he felt like "a kid waking up on Christmas morning every day" ahead of his second debut. He scored 12 goals in his second spell with the Merseyside outfit.
