It’s a top of the table lunchtime clash in League One on Saturday as second-placed Sunderland travel to fourth place Wycombe Wanderers. Wycombe have adjusted well to life back in League One after being narrowly relegated from the Championship last season, losing just one of their last seven. This has included a 3-0 win over promotion rivals, Plymouth Argyle, and their last game was a 1-0 away win against improving Charlton Athletic.
Sunderland are trying to end their four-season exile in the third tier, and manager Lee Johnson is so far working his magic, being unbeaten in their last nine. Wins against Doncaster Rovers and Sheffield Wednesday 3-0 and 5-0 respectively in their last two fixtures have proved this.
With Sunderland winning their last two against the Wanders but Wycombe not failing to score in their last seven, an away win and both teams to score is a good shout here.
