Manchester United Top Four Odds

Manchester United Back In Form

Unbeaten in 10 with 8 clean sheets along the way, Manchester United are back in form.

Ole Gunnar Solskajer's side have looked to have turned a corner as we approach the end of the season, with the Red Devils strongly pushing for a top four finish.

The arrival of Bruno Fernandes has injected some much-needed life and creativity into the side, with the Portuguese international improving the side's transitional play into the final third. With 3 goals and 3 assists in his opening 7 games, United look to have found their missing link in the middle with the playmaker.

Going forward, Solskjaer's side are operating much more fluidly and are reaping the rewards for their attacking play. From a defensive standpoint, United have looked much more solid too, with both Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka reeling in the plaudits in recent weeks.

United odds to make top four cut

On the back of such momentum, United's odds to make the top four had dropped down to 7/4 with bet365. This is the current best price on the market, with other bookmakers having them as low as 3/2.

This is quite a significant drop off considering they were 8/1 back in February, but the gap between themselves and Chelsea is now just 3 points. Before the Manchester Derby, the Red Devils could be found at 3/1, with their impressive 2-0 win seeing their odds start to fall once again.

When looking at United's run-in on paper too, their drop-off in price is clearly justified. After Tottenham, they face Brighton, Bournemouth and then Aston Villa - all teams that are severely struggling near the bottom of the table.

Given their rejuvenated performances, there's no reason why Solskjaer shouldn't be expecting four consecutive victories from these set of fixtures.

Premier League top four odds

With 8 points separating themselves from United, Leicester City's odds to finish inside the top four are as short as 1/8. The Foxes have struggled since the turn of the new year, but a recent 4-0 thrashing over Aston Villa has injected some much-needed confidence back into the King Power.

They still have to face Everton, Arsenal, Sheffield United, Spurs and United before the end of the season though, so they are far from being a 'sure thing'. Despite this, their price to make the top four remains way below evens, as they have done since November.

Looking at the odds, it appears to be a two-way race between the Red Devils and Chelsea. Frank Lampard's side are currently favoured over United at 8/11, but this battle looks set to go right down to the wire.

With trips to Sheffield United and Anfield still to come, a 3 point gap has left no room for error for the Blues, particularly if Solskjaer's men keep their momentum rolling. Their price has been quietly drifting since January, with Chelsea struggling to shut teams out.

They have kept just 1 clean sheet in the league since February, with a trip to Villa Park up next.

Which team will end the season more strongly? The battle for top four could very much end up coming down to the final day of the season.
