Blackburn Rovers are on the lookout for a new manager for the start of next season, following the recent news that Tony Mowbray is yet to have contract discussions at Ewood Park with his deal having just one week left on it.
The 58-year-old has been managed of Rovers since February 2017 where he was given the task of helping Blackburn avoid relegation to League One from a poor position, despite improvements in form, they are were relegated on the last day of the season, before bouncing back as runners-up in League One the next campaign.
This is by far Mowbray’s longest managerial spell at a team, with this weekend’s fixture set to be the 267th he has been in charge of at the Ewood Park club, winning 107 and drawing 70.
