Francis Ngannou has quickly became one of the best strikers and power punchers the UFC has sever seen, with a UFC record of 9-2-0. In total, the Cameroonian has 14 wins on his MMA record, with all of them coming inside the distance, 10 of which by KO/TKO.
With UFC 249 just around the corner, fans will be eager for ‘The Predator’s’ return to the octagon after almost a year since his last bout, when he beat Junior dos Santos with a first round stoppage by TKO. Ngannou is set to face Jairzinho Rozenstruik on May 9, a fighter with an undefeated professional record in MMA, with a total of 10 wins.
Rozenstruik will prove to be one of the toughest opponents Ngannou has had to face as the 32-year-old is also looking to make a name for himself in the heavyweight division, just as Ngannou was doing a few years back.
However, Ngannou is still considered to be the biggest threat to Stipe Miocic's title and the heavyweight title, although he will need to beat 'Bigi Boy' in order to get a second chance at Miocic in a title fight.
Here, we look at how things may turn out in this fight and what implications that would have for the heavyweight title.
