Everton have had their best-ever start to a Premier League season so far, winning four of their six opening games, while scoring 14 goals and conceding nine along the way.
By and large, this has been thanks to some shrewd recruitment over the summer, including new signings Allan and James Rodriguez. Not only this, Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been nothing short of sensational, registering seven goals so far in what could turn out to be a standout season for the 23-year-old. The Englishman's goalscoring exploits of late merited him with September's Player of the Month award, and he is now 20/1 to repeat that feat in November.
While Calvert-Lewin has proved any doubters wrong, so too has Rodriguez by bringing a real touch of class to Goodison Park. The Colombian has scored three goals and provided three assists so far in what has been a captivating start to life in the Premier League. Rogriguez is also 20/1 to be named Player of the Month, and with Manchester United, Leeds United and Newcastle United set to come in November, it could be Rodriguez’s turn to pick up the award.
