Mikel Arteta to be sacked odds

Time is seemingly running out for Mikel Arteta despite the fact the Arsenal board look to be behind the ex-Manchester City coach in this torrid time, as the Gunners sit just five points above the relegation zone in 15th.

At the same time, with Burnley boasting two games in hand over the north London side, there could be a case for Arsenal being just a couple of points and one place above the relegation zone at Christmas, something which is beyond unthinkable for any Arsenal fan.

Arteta is now, surely, just living off the FA Cup win in the previous season, as the club have since gone onto lose 11 games, draw seven and win only two this Premier League season, meaning there truly is no argument to keep him in the job, bar the 'give him time' theory.

Currently, after Bilic was sacked, Arteta is the 5/4 favourite to go next and it does seem the ex-Gunners midfielder is just a matter of days and one more defeat away from the sack. And, to put it in perspective, the 1-0 defeat to Burnley at the Emirates could end up being the defeat that throws them into the bottom three in the next few weeks, if they fail to win and Burnley and Fulham continue their improving form.

It truly is the worst Arsenal side in Premier League history and something needs to change soon - for that to be Arteta to go, odds are 5/4.

Chris Wilder to be sacked odds

Similarly to Arteta, Chris Wilder is seemingly living off the results of last season, as Sheffield United are in utter turmoil in 2020/21 after such a brilliant season in their return to the top flight last year.

In the 2019/20 campaign, Wilder's men were tough to beat throughout the year, with many 'Big Six' clubs struggling to take three points, whilst there was, at one stage, a serious argument for the Blades to be playing in the Europa League and even the Champions League.

However, the hiatus back in March no doubt killed all momentum for Sheffield United and the club have since gone on the worst run of form seen in the Premier League for quite some time, as they have won just three games in all competitions in their last 22 fixtures.

This run has kept them winless in the league this season with 11 defeats and just a point to there name after a draw with Fulham. Now, the Blades are eight points from safety and with relegation-fighting veteran Sam Allardyce joining West Bromwich Albion, this gap could begin to open up very quickly.

In truth, if it wasn't for the ninth-placed finish last season for Wilder and his side, the Englishman might be gone already, because right now, they are statistically on course to break Derby County's horrific records set in 2007/08, where the Rams became the first club in Premier League history to be relegated in March and only the second in post-war English Football league history. Derby also amounted the league's lowest points tally since the introduction of three points for a win with just 11 points all season long.

Wilder is now 5/2 to be the next Premier League manager to be sacked.

Next Premier League Manager to be Sacked Odds: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to be sacked odds

No matter what happens at Manchester United, unless the manager has the Premier League trophy in his hands, the fans will calculate this as complete failure, unless the Champions League trophy is there instead.

Well, sadly for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, Liverpool's win over Tottenham Hotspur only means they are looking like matching United's record of 20 league titles come May, whilst the Red Devils have already crashed out of the Champions League and ended up in the Europa League once more.

Solskjaer is, however, doing much better than most people have worked out, but, as alluded to, unless a league medal follows this, the Norwegian has not hit the standards the Old Trafford outfit have set the past few decades. If Solskajer does win the club's two games in hand, they will move up to second in the table after 13 games, which, as shown in years gone by, would be statistically putting them in a title race as we approach the New Year.

Whilst this may not be a realistic outcome, given the strength of Spurs and Liverpool, United can open up a gap on Chelsea, Manchester City and cement themselves as one of the contenders in this peculiar Premier League year.

It does, however, seem we are always just one bad result away from seeing Solskjaer face the sack, given the unrivalled success of United down the years and how no manager has been able to uphold this winning status post-Sir Alex Ferguson.

The United board do seem to be behind him the entire way, but a loss where a win should've come, and it could be over in a flash - Solskjaer is now 6/1 to be the next Premier League manager to be sacked.

Scott Parker to be sacked odds

At one stage, Scott Parker was seen as the first man to face the axe in the Premier League after such a dismal start for Fulham in the Premier League, which saw them concede 11 goals in their first four games, before they eventually picked up their first point of the season in a draw with Sheffield United.

In that time, Fulham were rooted to the bottom of the table on goal difference and have only advanced away from this position due to the torrid form of Sheffield United. Although, in the past few weeks, the Cottagers have seriously impressed and finally established themselves as a team to be worried about, if you're down near the bottom.

However, similarly to others on this list, it does seem as if Parker is just one bad result away from the sack and his future could really be told throughout this hectic winter period, because if they can stay out of the relegation zone until 2021, then he might be safe.

Odds are now at 14/1 for Parker to be sacked by Fulham, but right now, after a draw with Liverpool and Brighton & Hove Albion after their win over Leicester City.
