What a season it has been for Manchester City. Pep Guardiola's side completed the domestic treble by winning the FA Cup final against Watford 6-0 at the weekend, becoming the first side in English footballing history to achieve that feat.
They had previously won the Carabao Cup in February, beating Chelsea on penalties in the final, whilst sealing the Premier League title away at Brighton on the final day with a 4-1 win.
The achievement from City is truly a remarkable one. They were pushed all the way in the league by Liverpool, with the Reds amassing a record amount of points for a runner-up which was still not enough to finish above the Mancunians.
Attention will now begin to turn towards next season and whether or not the Citizens can replicate their success, or even better it. Bookmakers have already released a variety of odds for what City could win in the 2019/20 season, and we have taken a look at them.
What odds are Manchester City to win the domestic treble again next season?
So having won the treble this season, the big question will now be can they do it again next season?
Very few teams in world football ever win back-to-back trebles, but it has been done before and quite recently. PSG managed it in France between 2014-16 whilst Celtic are on the verge of completing a treble of trebles this season, a win against Hearts in the Scottish cup final would secure that.
Given the way that City have played this season, and the resources at their disposal to further improve their squad in the summer transfer window, you certainly cannot discount their chances of winning three trophies again in the 2019/20 season.
Liverpool may well challenge them again, but it is hard to see City not improving further which will make it tough for the Reds to leapfrog them. They themselves will have to improve on what has been an unbelievable season, losing just once, if they are to keep pace with their rivals.
Bookmaker Sky Bet have priced up the chances of Manchester City winning all three of the Premier League, League Cup and FA Cup once again next season, offering odds of 25/1 for them to do it.
Manchester City quadruple odds in 2019/20
At one point this season, it looked as though Manchester City could win the quadruple, let alone the domestic treble. By March they had already won the Carabao Cup and were still competing for both the FA Cup and Premier League, whilst also still being in the UEFA Champions League.
It got to a point where most people believed that they could win everything, with bookmakers even cutting their odds to 9/1 by February.
They ended up being eliminated from Europe in a bonkers quarter-final tie against Tottenham Hotspur, meaning that is now the only trophy which Guardiola hasn't won during his time at the Etihad.
Winning Europe's elite prize will almost certainly be a priority for them next season, indeed Guardiola himself pointed to the importance of it in his post-match press conference after the FA Cup final. He said: "I said before that I know we will be judged at the end on whether we win the Champions League. I know unless we do that it will not be enough."
So could they add it to the three trophies they have won this year and finish with a historic quadruple next term?
Sky Bet have priced them up at 125/1 to do just that, which might sound long odds but they are not as big as they were prior to the season just gone. They were considered to have a 200/1 chance to win the quadruple this campaign, and therefore it is actually considered more likely that will do it next term according to the odds.
