This weekend’s early kick-off sees two teams that were in the Premier League last season go head-to-head, with both clubs aiming to return to the top flight at the first time of asking.
AFC Bournemouth dismissed Jason Tindall at the beginning of the month after just six months in the role and gave the job to former Middlesbrough boss Jonathan Woodgate until the end of the season. However, Woodgate lost his first game since the announcement during midweek, where the Cherries were defeated 2-1 by Cardiff. A bright spark for the club is the signing of Shane Long who has scored two goals in his last two games and looks to be a perfect replacement for Josh King, who joined Everton last month.
The appointment of Xisco Munoz has proven to be effective for Watford, who are top of the form table for the last ten games, where they’ve picked up 23 points and have won their last four. Despite this, the Hornets go into the game as underdogs, but we fancy them to prove their quality once again as they travel to the Vitality Stadium, where they are unbeaten in their last five visits.
Watford are currently 9/5 to get three points this Saturday.
