The hosts are in fine form, winning three of the their past five including a 4-0 demolition of fellow promotion chasers, Tranmere Rovers, to extend their lead at the top.

In this time, Rob Edwards side have kept three clean sheets building on what has been a rock-solid defence all season, conceding just 22 times overall.

Visitors Rochdale sit 16th and are in the midst of a relegation battle after winning just one of their past five and failing to score on three of these occasions. Considering the Dales recent woes in front of goal and the Rovers steadfast defence, our tip for Tuesday night is Forest Green to win to nil priced at 15/8.

Newport Country travel to face Northampton Town in what looks to be a six-pointer in the hunt for promotion. Hosts Northampton have won two, drawn two and lost one in their previous five, while visitors Newport have momentum on their side, as despite losing last time out to league leaders Forest Green, the Exiles had won four on the bounce prior to that.

Neither team have been part of action-packed fixtures recently, as out of both teams last five games, just two have seen over 2.5 goals being scored. Considering this lack of action on both parts, our tip is under 2.5 match goals priced at 8/13 when these two meet at Sixfields Stadium on Tuesday.

Bolton Wanderers welcome fellow mid-table outfit Charlton Athletic as both sides sit 10th and 11th, respectively, following a run of good results. Hosts Bolton have been one of the division standout sides recently, winning four of their past five including a shock 6-0 triumph over high-flyers Sunderland with the Wanderers rapidly climbing the table since the turn of the year.

Just one place below their hosts, visitors Charlton are also in fine form, having won their past three and last tasting defeat to Crewe Alexandra in mid-January. Both sides have been clinical in front of goal recently, scoring in each of their past five respectively so we expect an action-packed 90 minutes, however with home advantage on their side, our tip is for both teams to score and Bolton to win at 4/1.

Morecambe travel to face fellow strugglers Lincoln City at the LNER Stadium in the hunt for three much-needed points. Stephen Robinson's men sit 21st, however, are seven points clear of the automatic relegation spots largely thanks to homing the division's joint-top goalscorer in Cole Stockton.

Despite their star man being amongst the goals of late, the Shrimps have still struggled to pick up points consistently winning just once in their past five.

Hosts Lincoln are only slightly off better form-wise, winning two and losing three in the previous five having conceded an average of two goals a game in the process. Considering the Imps recent leaky defence and Stockton’s impressive record of five goals in his last seven, we expect the Englishman to be on the scoresheet again this week, priced at 7/4 to score anytime.

Thanks to a tough fought victory over Accrington Stanley at the weekend, Rotherham returned to the top of the table as the Millers strive for a place in the Championship next season. Rotherham have won their last five league games, keeping a clean sheet on each occasion maintaining a league-best of just 18 goals conceded this season.

In contrast, this week’s hosts, AFC Wimbledon, are winless in five, having lost twice and drawn thrice throughout this time whilst conceding on each outing. Rotherham will aim to keep the pressure on fellow title challengers Wigan and look favourites to take the points at Plough Lane on Tuesday, and given four of the Millers last five results have been either one or 2-0, our tip is Rotherham to continue this trend and win 1-0, 2-0, or 2-1 priced at 13/8.
