Borussia Monchengladbach will want to get their season back on track with a statement win against Borussia Dortmund. The Foles lost their previous game 1-0 against Augsburg in a poor performance, but Dortmund on the other hand, are coming off another goalfest win over Union Berlin, where another Erling Haaland brace secured a 4-2 win.
Last season, the games were split in both fixtures with Dortmund winning the first game 3-0 at the Signal Iduna Park, while later in the season, Gladbach won the return game in an exciting 4-2 win at Borussia Park. However, times are completley different now, with Gladbach's former manager Marco Rose leaving them for Dortmund this season.
The lack of defending by Dortmund will be a factor in this game, which makes it likely that Gladbach will score as Dortmund have conceded two goals or move in their opening five games. The fact that Dortmund possesses Haaland is also a deciding factor with the Norwegian likely contributing to them winning the game, so we're heading for a score win and Haaland to get another goal.
