The Lakers have been one of the most spoken about teams this season for all the wrong reasons, as their roster construction this season has them currently as the eighth seed in the West, losing four of their last five games.
Miami, on the other hand, have had their injury struggles this season, with Bam Adebayo returning in their last game, but their rotation players have stepped up and are currently 2nd in the east despite their injuries.
The two teams have met once this season, with the Lakers winning at home and without LeBron James, but the two teams are coming into this game in completely opposite form, with the Heat winning 11 of their last 14 games.
With Anthony Davis out, the Lakers have employed James at centre a lot of the time, but the Heat with Bam Adebayo at centre, may have the perfect antidote for that lineup which has been semi-successful for the Lakers.
His ability to defend both the perimeter and the paint could prove very useful for Miami in this game, but LeBron James is LeBron James and could easily lead the Lakers to victory by himself.
