Aaron Ramsey’s stay in Turin and Serie A looks set to all be over as Juventus manager Max Allegri confirmed his imminent departure for the Allianz Stadium. Speaking in a press conference before Juve’s 0-0 draw away to Milan.
“Aaron's not with the team as he's set to leave the club,” Allegri stated recently
Burnley have been looking to get the Welshmen in on loan and he could prove to be a huge asset to their midfield. In his last full season with Juventus, Ramsey provided seven goal involvements as the Old Lady finished fourth in Serie A and made it to the last 16 of the Champions League.
In his last full season at Arsenal, in 2018/19, Ramsey showed how much he can offer to the Premier League, offering 10 goal involvements despite missing ten games through injury. With none of Burnley’s central midfielders, including the likes of Josh Brownhill and Ashley Westwood, providing a goal thus far this season, Ramsey could be the creative spark that the clarets need to ensure survival.
Alternatively, were Burnley to stay up, acquiring Ramsey on the cheap in the summer could be an option, with the former Gooner only having a year left on his deal. It does seem as if Juventus also want the deal to be a permanent one.
