Super Bowl LVI Prediction, Tips, Offers & Odds

Super Bowl 56 is upon us this weekend and against many of the odds and predictions, the Cincinnati Bengals have made it to their first Super Bowl since the 1980s when the golden age for the Bengals was well and truly alive. However, they failed to win them both, and they now head into this one aiming to touch the Lombardi Trophy for the first time ever.

The Rams, however, have been one of the teams to watch all season long with the likes of Cooper Kupp and Odell Beckham Jr., and the California side are themselves aiming to win on Super Bowl Sunday for the first time since 1999.

The Rams are the narrow favourites at 1/2 here, and we'll take a look at how the two sides are looking heading into the biggest game of the American sporting calendar.

The Rams are currently on a three-game winning streak in the NFL as they lost to the San Francisco 49ers back in early January. However, they thrashed the Arizona Cardinals 34-11 soon after, before beating Tom Brady and the Tamba Bay Buccaneers 30-27 a few days after in what will now always be remembered as the final ever game for the greatest of all time.

Then came the rematch with the 49ers, and once again, it was an exceptionally close match where the Rams edged past their California rivals following two further touchdowns from the in-form Cooper Kupp and two more from Matthew Stafford. Odell Beckham Jr. also covered 113 yards that day and recieved nine passes, while Travin Howard made the one interception. The game finished 20-17 in favour of the Rams, but the narrow wins in their past two games will give the Bengals hope because if the likes of Kupp and Beckham Jr. don't turn up, the Ohio outfit could well be ready to shock us all this Sunday.

However, back in 2019, the two met for what was the only time they have done so in the past four years and that day was also dominated by Kupp who finished with 220 receiving yards and a touchdown in that 2019 battle, and back in the playoffs, he also managed 325 yards, 20 catches, and three touchdowns.

The Rams are the favourites for a reason with the form of these players and how they managed to win 12 of their NFC West games and lose only five, and only the Buccaneers and the Green Bay Packers can boast a better record for the regular season in the NFC.

For the Rams, we've tipped up Beckham Jr to get 100+ receiving yards along with Ja'Marr Chase to do the same, and Kupp to have 150+ receiving yards too at 40/1.

The Bengals are in their first Super Bowl since 1988 as they also got to this stage back in 1981, and following their AFC Championship win this campaign, they have a few names to thank, but none more so than Joe Burrow. The quarterback has lived up to all of the hype following his success at the famed Ohio State and he has all but dragged the Bengals through their recent games to get to this stage and the Iowa man can reach legendary status in Ohio if he can put on another clinic and get his side's hands on the Lombardi Trophy for the first time ever.

However, the Bengals haven't had it easy this season and back in December, they lost to the Los Angeles Chargers and the 49ers back-to-back before edging past the Denver Broncos and them hammering the Baltimore Ravens. In the Wild Card Round, however, the Bengals would also beat the Las Vegas Raiders in an excellent display where Burrow had two touchdowns along with C.J Uzomah and Tyler Boyd getting one each.

They are the underdogs for a reason here as Burrow and co. have looked excellent throughout the season, but also, at times, shown to be defensively inferior to other sides in the AFC. They even ended their AFC North campaign with 10 wins and seven losses, which was the worst of all teams winning their respective AFC regionals divisions and their record was even the same as the New England Patriots who finished second in the East.

The Bengals have a great chance if the likes of Ja'Marr Chase continues his form shown throughout the season, and the same applies for Burrow, who all but has to put on a near-career-best display to overcome the Rams. They are the 13/8 underdogs.
