Troy Parrot is one of Tottenham Hotspur’s most exciting young talents, making his senior competitive debut for Spurs at just 17 against Colchester United in the Carabao Cup.
The Irish striker made a name for himself in the Spurs academy after becoming the 2018/19 UEFA Youth League top scorer, bagging six goals in the group stages of the competition, with four goals against Crvena Zvezda in a 9-2 victory.
Now 18, the forward is showing great potential and has already had a glimpse of first-team action for the north London side. It's tough to say he will be a senior squad regular, as the likes of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min are still an option for Jose Mourinho, whilst the Portuguese doesn't tend to choose the youth options that often.
Parrot could still be used sporadically, however, and probably find his name on the teamsheet for domestic competitions.
