10. Troy Parrot

Troy Parrot is one of Tottenham Hotspur’s most exciting young talents, making his senior competitive debut for Spurs at just 17 against Colchester United in the Carabao Cup.

The Irish striker made a name for himself in the Spurs academy after becoming the 2018/19 UEFA Youth League top scorer, bagging six goals in the group stages of the competition, with four goals against Crvena Zvezda in a 9-2 victory.

Now 18, the forward is showing great potential and has already had a glimpse of first-team action for the north London side. It's tough to say he will be a senior squad regular, as the likes of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min are still an option for Jose Mourinho, whilst the Portuguese doesn't tend to choose the youth options that often.

Parrot could still be used sporadically, however, and probably find his name on the teamsheet for domestic competitions.

9. Joe Willock

Over the years, Arsenal’s academy has produced some of the most exciting young talents in the Premier League. Joe Willock is just another name quickly becoming another man from the famous youth set up at the Emirates, featuring in 19 of the Gunners' league games this season.

However, it is perhaps Willock’s performances outside of the league that has caught the eye of fans, as the 20-year-old has now featured as a starting player 10 times this season in the FA Cup, Europa League and Carabao Cup, scoring four goals.

The youngster is likely to continue to get more minutes under the newly appointed Mikel Arteta and will perhaps be more of a feature next season.

8. Morgan Gibbs-White

Wolverhampton Wanderers' rise to the upper end of the Premier League under Nuno Espirito Santo has been impressive, to say the least. The use of Morgan Gibbs-White is, however, something that has goes slightly under the radar of Wolves’ adulation.

Only 20 years old, the central midfielder has already made 30 appearances in the Premier League and is becoming a fan favourite at Molineux. Gibbs-White was also part of the outstanding England U17 FIFA World Cup-winning squad in 2017, scoring in the 5-2 win over Spain in the final.

Now, with Wolves looking to achieve a Europa League spot for the second consecutive season, the Englishman will no doubt become a regular starter for them, as Joao Moutinho ages and as the games ramp up once more.

7. Curtis Jones

At the beginning of the season, Curtis Jones was keen to fight for his place in the Liverpool squad, rather than being sent out on loan. Since, the 19-year-old has made eight senior appearances in all competitions for Jurgen Klopp’s side, scoring two goals in the process.

Jones’ performance against local rivals Everton in the FA Cup is perhaps what has made the midfielder a name to look out for, putting in a determined Man of the Match performance, including a stunning winning goal.

Klopp’s reputation for developing players in Germany will undoubtedly continue with Jones, and it is likely we will see much more of the Liverpool youngster in the coming season.

6. Bukayo Saka

Bukayo Saka is another exciting Premier League prospect to emerge from the Arsenal academy, making 18 appearances for the Gunners this season at left back and left wing, and assisting three goals in the process.

However, similarly to his midfield teammate, Willock, competitions outside of the league is where Saka has impressed the most, being directly involved in nine goals across 11 major tournament fixtures for Arsenal.

The Englishman has already been given plenty of opportunity to display his talent this season, and managed to prove himself a capable squad member for the club. Arteta may continue to use Saka next season in the push for a return to the Champions League. Saka may even get closer to the England squad, as Ben Chilwell takes a hit in form.

5. Brandon Williams

For years, Manchester United have been known to produce some of the most exciting youngsters the world has seen, from the Class of ’92, to the likes of Marcus Rashford and Paul Pogba.

19-year-old Brandon Williams is no exception to this, as the Manchester-born full back is shining bright under the guidance of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and making a name for himself among the Old Trafford faithful.

In his debut Premier League season, Williams has already made 12 starts for United and even managed to score his first goal for the club against Sheffield United. The English left back is seemingly already a favourite of his manager, and with Luke Shaw moving into a back three more often, the space at left back looks set for him, and him only.

4. Billy Gilmour

Since being appointed as manager, Frank Lampard has implemented a new player strategy for Chelsea this season, developing a lot of the young talent the club has to offer. The Blues boss has been key in the development of homegrown talent, with the likes of Mount, Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori all becoming regular features for the club this season.

Billy Gilmour is another of Chelsea’s young talents shining when getting the opportunity under Lampard, making six senior appearances in his senior debut season.

The 18-year-old Scottish midfielder has already featured in a number of high-level games, including a full 90 minutes against Everton in the Premier League and an impressive 90 minutes against Liverpool in a 2-0 FA Cup win.

With growing confidence and trust in youth players from Lampard, Chelsea fans could be seeing a lot more Gilmour next season.

3. Callum Hudson-Odoi

Another young and exciting English talent at Lampard's disposal is 19-year-old Callum Hudson-Odoi.

The talented young winger is another player to have been part of England’s U17 World Cup-winning side and he proved to be one of Steve Cooper’s biggest assets that year, assisting two goals in the final and terrorising defences throughout the tournament.

This season, Hudson-Odoi has added 17 appearances to his Chelsea career, scoring his first goal for the club, whilst assisting another four. Now, as Willian and Pedro look set to depart a year after Eden Hazard left, this could the perfect time for the youngster to come into his own.

Hudson-Odoi's already proven ability, the free space on the wings and Lampard's desire for youth all work in his favour. Expect a big season for the 19-year-old next campaign, and he rightfully so comes in at number three.

2. Phil Foden

Recently, Manchester City have managed to rival United in producing an array of young talent, with the youth stars like Jadon Sancho already becoming one of Europe’s most sought after players, albeit, with another club.

Phil Foden is the most notable example of the elite youth emerging from the City's academy, and has also become a regular feature in Pep Guardiola’s side. At just 19, the English playmaker has featured in 32 Premier League games for City and has become a regular within the domestic cup competitions, which City have dominated.

Since scoring two goals in England's U17 World Cup final win in 2017, Foden has quickly become one of Europe's best youngsters, and one of Guardiola's most exciting projects.

Veterean playmaker, David Silva, is set to leave the club at the end of this season, potentially finally making way for this phenomenal talent. Guardiola has done nothing but praise Foden and has even labelled him one of the best young talents he's ever worked with - some statement considering his managerial career during Barcelona's golden years.

As the Stockport-born approaches his 20th birthday just as Silva leaves, now it looks almost like destiny for one of City's own to fill the shoes of one of their greatest ever.

1. Mason Greenwood

Mason Greenwood is quickly building a reputation in becoming one of England’s most talented goalscorers after the forward scored 14 goals across the board this season.

The 18-year-old’s performances in the Europa League have been even more impressive, featuring in seven of United’s nine games in the competition, scoring five and creating two of them.

Greenwood was involved in more than 40 goals the season before he broke into the senior side with the U18s, winning the Youth Team Player of the Year award at United. Now, his form has only continued with some magnificent goals in the first-team.

After bagging 14 goals many months before his 19th birthday, the striker has to be considered as one of the best young talents in all of Europe and Solskjaer will no doubt play him regularly within United's front three next year.

Solskjaer's desire to play youngsters means he gets to number one on this list ahead of Foden, with the future still uncertain for the City man, as he only plays a sporadic role right now.
