On November 16th, it was announced that Hollywood actors Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney would both become the newest owners of the third oldest professional football team in the world, Wrexham Association Football Club.
"We want Wrexham to be a global force," said Reynolds to a virtual presentation to trust members The initial plan to do so is to inject around £2m into the club, but how this will be used remains to be seen.
