Due to the size and quality of Chelsea’s squad, you would expect it to almost be a certainty that the Blues will improve on their current league position of 10th place, as they have won just eight of their opening 19 league games this season.
Getting into the top six won’t be as easy as it sounds on paper though, due to the reemergence of Leicester City in the last couple of seasons, as well as the likes of sixth-placed Tottenham Hotspur having a game in hand on the Stamford Bridge club. Seventh place Everton who are three points ahead of Chelsea also have two games in hand on Tuchel’s side.
If Chelsea are to get into the top six of the Premier League then the German will have to make a quick start to life at Stamford Bridge and very few points can be dropped for the next couple of weeks.
Chelsea to finish in the top six in the Premier League is priced at 1/2.
