Reigning world champion and favourite for gold in Tokyo, Swedish discus thrower, Daniel Stahl, is expected to dominate proceedings this summer.
Having failed to reach the final in his debut Olympics five years ago, Stahl has since established himself as the clear number one in this discipline. Having achieved silver at the 2017 World Championships in London, the 28-year-old threw a 67.59-metre effort two years later at the 2019 championships in Doha. With a personal best of 71.86 metres, Stahl will also have eyes on beating the Olympic Record, which currently stands at 69.89 metres heading into the games.
Few will be able to match the brute force of the world number one, who is priced at 4/6 to add to his tally of golds this year.
