Premier League champions Manchester City parted ways with club legend, Sergio Aguero, after 10 years at the club and this no doubt leaves an enormous hole in their title hopes.
They have been linked with the phenom that is Erling Haaland over the last year, however, he is available next summer for £68, so may have to pay an inflated price this summer to lure the Norwegian to the club.
City instead should instead look at bringing Aston Villa talisman Jack Grealish to the club, or Harry Kane, but the latter depends on too many factors. This season, City have managed to operate without a main striker with various players who are comfortable playing in a false nine position and Grealish is incredibly versatile and will fit in perfectly in Pep Guardiola’s fluid system.
However, if they can get Kane, expect this one to go ahead. But in reality, it just seems to expensive and too many variables disrupting it for the transfer to go ahead, so we expect them to go all-in on Grealish.
