Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang Transfer News & Odds

Barcelona are reportedly looking to sell 33-year-old Gabonese striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang this summer in order to improve their financial woes following Josep Bartomeu's disastrous reign as Club President.

Chelsea Odds: 1/2

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is priced at just 1/2 to join Chelsea this summer as new owner Todd Boehly looks to strengthen Thomas Tuchel’s squad in the striker department.

So far this summer, Chelsea have let go of both Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner back to their old clubs in Inter Milan and RB Leipzig, meaning that they are short up-front with Armando Broja being their only natural striker on their books.

Aubameyang proved to be a prolific goalscorer when at their North London neighbours Arsenal, and in a cut-price deal with Barcelona could prove to be a good signing in the short-term for the Blues.

The Gabonese striker bagged 68 goals and created 16 assists in 128 Premier League matches for the Gunners and would hope to reproduce similar form if he joins the Stamford Bridge club.

To Stay At Barcelona Odds: 6/4

The odds are also short for Aubameyang to stay at Barcelona with rumours circulating in the Spanish media that potentially just one of Memphis Depay or the Gabonese striker would have to leave the club.

With Depay being younger than Aubameyang, he will likely attract more interest and is rumoured to be in talks with Juventus. It is more like that Juve will pay a decent fee for Depay than Chelsea would for the Gabonese striker, hence why a sale for Memphis is more likely.

The Gabonese striker is priced at 6/4 to stay at Barca.

Manchester United Odds: 20/1

Manchester United are well known to be on the lookout for a new striker due to the shortages which they have in their squad following a slow summer of transfer activity at Old Trafford.

With Cristiano Ronaldo known to be desperate to leave the Old Trafford club in pursuit of Champions League football, on top of Anthony Martial wanting away from the club last season, an attempt at signing Aubameyang from Barcelona could be a logical short-term fit.

United have been known for short-term striker options in recent year, having signed the likes of Odion Ighalo, Edinson Cavani, Radamel Falcao and more.

United are priced at 20/1 to sign Aubameyang this summer.
