Next Hull City Manager Odds

Hull City are on the lookout for a new manager following the dismissal of Liam Rosenior.

The 39-year-old has actually been shortlisted for the Championship Manager of the Season Award, meaning that this decision has come as a surprise to some, considering the Tigers missed out on the play-offs by just three points having accumulated 70 points from 46 matches.

Rosenior took over Hull on 3rd November 2022, returning to a club where he made 144 league appearances as a player between 2010 and 2015 and oversaw 78 matches as manager, winning 27, drawing 28 and losing 23, equating to a 34.62% win percentage. There is no doubt that there will be plenty of suitors for the 39-year-old in the near future.

Tim Walter’s Odds: 1/2

Former Hamburg manager Tim Walter is the firm favourite for the vacancy at the MKM Stadium at present.

Walter coached Hamburg between between July 2021 and February 2024, winning 51 and drawing 28 of his 104 matches in charge, but, ultimately failed to earn promotion to the Bundesliga having suffered defeats in the relegation/promotion play-out in both 2021/22 and 2022/23 - the occasion where 16th in the Bundesliga meets third in the 2. Bundesliga for a two-legged play-off.

Walter is priced at 1/2 to succeed Rosenior at Hull.

On top of this, Cooper did a good job while in charge of Swansea City between June 2019 and July 2021, leading the Swans to back-to-back play-off place finishes against all of the odds.
