DC United vs Inter Miami Prediction & Betting Tips

DC United host Inter Miami at Audi Field in the early kick off on Saturday in the MLS. Although still in the early days of the season, Inter Miami look to stay at the top of the table, whereas DC look to keep up with the leading pack within the Play-offs.

        Date: 16/03/2024

        Kick-off time: 18:00

        Location: Audi Field

With only four games played, the top of the MLS table is predictably tight with the top five teams in the Eastern Conference all being tied on the same amount of points.

DC United currently sit sixth in the MLS after just three games. The Black and Red have one win and two draws, leaving them on five points, two points behind top of the league Inter Miami.

So far this season, DC United have scored five goals in three games but have also conceded three goals.

Inter Miami, on the other hand, currently sit top of the MLS. In four games, Inter have two wins, one draw and one loss which leaves them on seven points, equal with the likes of Montreal, Columbus, New York Red Bulls and Toronto, but having played one more game than everyone else in the conference.

Miami have scored the most goals in the conference so far, with ten goals in four games, but Inter have also conceded four goals. However, it still leaves Miami with the best goal difference in the conference.

DC United and Inter Miami have met eight times in their histories, with the first meeting coming back in 2020. United have the better record in the fixture with five wins in comparison to Inter Miami’s singular win, the other two games ending in a draw.

The last five games in this fixture have seen two DC United wins, one Inter Miami win and two draws. However, four of those five games all had both teams on the scoresheet, with these games all having at least three goals.
