Southampton forward Danny Ings is reportedly on Spurs’ radar as a replacement for England captain Harry Kane, should he leave.
Ings has emerged as a consistent goalscorer in the Premier League and seems like a more than the suitable candidate to lead the line for the north London club, considering what else is on the landscape.
Ings has been linked with a move to a ‘Big Six’ club over the last few seasons and at the age of 28, he is well into his prime and will look to try and take his career to the next level and possibly play European football.
Ings has reportedly rejected a new contract offer from the Saints and has 12 months left on his current deal and the Evening Standard are reporting that the Englishman also wants the move.
As of now, the Southampton man is 6/4 to join Spurs.
