Next up on this list of clubs that have been linked with United’s French forward is Real Madrid.
At present, it is no secret that Real are looking at signing a striker, but, Martial could also provide them with a good left-winger if Eden Hazard continues to fail to perform at the Santiago Bernabeu. The former Chelsea man has managed just five goals and nine assists in 46 matches since moving to Real just over two years ago and at the age of 30, could soon be deemed as surplus to requirements unless a substantial improvement is made.
Meanwhile, Martial could offer Real a stop-gap option up-front in their bid to sign Mbappe, which would not be out of the realms of possibility as we have previously seen Los Blancos sign players from United with short term purposes such as Gabriel Heinze and Javier Hernandez. Martial has shown in glimpses throughout his time at United that he can perform at a potentially world-class level, but lacks the consistency to make the step up, of which a move to Spain could offer him as it is not as physically demanding as the Premier League.
Martial has the odds of 16/1 to move to Real Madrid.
