Rumours have been circulating claiming a move for the River Plate right back Gonzalo Montiel to West Ham United. The club has been linked to the player over the past couple of months for a summer transfer but have been interested in signing him since the January transfer window which unfortunately did not go through.
David Moyes has certainly been scouring the market for a right-back ever since Ryan Fredericks’ injury with offers being made to Nottingham Forest’s Matty Cash, Barcelona’s Moussa Wague and RB Salzburg’s Rasmus Kristensen but unfortunately rejected by all three.
With Jeremy Ngakia not extending his contract, leaving on June 30th, Moyes is out to strengthen his team. Tevez would be a great asset and the club wanted to sign him in the past with a loan fee of £10m back in January. The footballer’s agent has stated a fee of £6.5 million would be enough for West Ham to scoop him up.
